Unending dilemma X_X

Anyway, to refocus this thread: my concern/issue isn't with the times at which I play because that definitely can't change (however your suggestions have been noted). The class/job I play as definitely can change and that is where the issue is.

You could go with Summoner, Dragoon or a Bard if you really want a DPS. I am still deciding myself, because I have never been a big fan of melee fighting and I've always liked a good bow in action. However, if you want to be in charge of a (little) group, tank would be a good option, since they basically lead the instances. My boyfriend plays a Warrior and he enjoys playing it.
Its really what you prefer doing, do you like melee or ranged more? Doesn't have to be this game, any game. Because if your preference lies with Melee combat I would suggest Dragoon, since they're a lot of fun with their jumping around.

I was actually just thinking about testing DRG or WAR out. I've only ever really played ranged characters and I feel like I should try to give melee a chance before I can feel satisfied. My boyfriend plays as a bard and while he makes it look fun it just doesn't feel right whenever I steal his controller :P.

To echo others, do them all! Also, join a FC, especially one that matches your play times. Go dungeon with friends. ^_^
