Even when doing win trading, it would take approximately 130 hours to get to Rank 40 and be able to wear all of the iLVL 100 PvP gear.
130 hours.
To put that in perspective, even many of the longest single player RPG games probably won't demand much more than 100 hours of your time, and arguably you're having fun and enjoying the story and the game play the entire way through.
Is PvP more fun than playing a single player RPG, then?
Well, no.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that if you do this in a legitimate manner, it will likely take 10 times as long, given that you'll have to deal with queues, losing, etc. That's 5+ months of spending 8 hours a day, every day, in order to get it done. I don't know about you, but I have better things to do with my time, especially since I would spend most of that time getting shredded by people who already have PvP gear. What fun!
Rather than making morale less valuable, or making actions that bypass morale, why not simply make the rewards take less time to get? Presumably the fun of PvP is actually, you know, playing PvP. Folks who quit PvP after getting the best armor clearly did it ONLY to get the armor, and not to actually play PvP. The armor should be very easy to get, and game play in PvP should be based on player skill, not who has spent the most time grinding out wolf marks to get gear.
Dev team seems to be headed in the wrong direction in terms of making the game way too grindy. Would like to see the dev team look more into easing the grind and making more fun content that people WANT to enjoy for long periods of time rather than trying to FORCE players to "enjoy" content for long periods of time because that's simply what's necessary to get desired items, even though the path to get those items is seen as a frustration rather than something fun.
