To me this is where the problem lies...you have to stack an insane amount of SS to see any significant returns. I know that in his latest speach during E3 that Yoshi talked about how japanese players were more apt to use it than western players, but I still find it a worthless stat. I can see the cheapness aspect of it. However, ilvl70 crafted gear is also cheap..that doesn't meant I'm going to try and tank coil2 with it. It's all about what is the most optimal set-up. Sure SS may be viable but I hardly would consider it the best option. Which is essentially what many of the people reading this thread are looking for.
So....what is the best option for melding the Bravura Novus. As in...if high allagan wasn't an option, what would you need to meld to make it BiS.
Discuss....
acc/pary or acc/det
what about parry/det?
Crit/Det. Because if you don't have access to T9 stuff or will ever clear it for that matter, then you're certainly not worrying about accuracy caps like they are a thing you need to build for. It's the same even if you do have access to T9 stuff because that would mean you had access to everything in the game and you can over-acc yourself by just wearing HA pants in the future if you wished.
The downside is this is the most expensive option imaginable but that's how things are when they're considered "the best".

<- my Bravura. I don't find Parry to be particularly useful for Warrior, so I opted to skip it. Determination is an obvious choice for damage/threat, then I decided to split crit/acc 50/50. I really wanted to go all out crit and no accuracy, but I am technically a bit short for t8/t9 without it. Also depending on my luck with drops I could end up with less depending on which order I replace certain pieces. I wanted to make sure to future proof myself. I would hate to have spent all that time on Bravura Novus, then have to switch back to my Allagan Axe just to get enough accuracy...
Also I won't lie, the fact that 22acc/22crit is a LOT cheaper than 44crit definitely played a factor.
I was considering something similar. Going with 31 Det, 24 Crit, 20 Acc.
EDIT: I found the novus image through google image search. It was recently uploaded
