Looking at what stats would you guys recommend of course accuracy but what else?

Hmm. I usually play a PLD but mostly, the tanking stats are; STR, VIT, Parry and ACC.
If Crit/Det is your thing, go ahead. But I heard some WARs benefit from damage as well but I can't confirm you that.
Since WARs have damage buffs on their arsenal.

go for what you need in your build. if you want to crit more with Overpower / Steel Cyclone on aoe situations go that, if you want steady damage output go det. If you think that raising skill speed will benefit you in a way that your GCD is faster than dps (mine's 2.40 with certain accesories) -> you can easiy out-enmity dps classes when picking up ads etc...

It's good there's no one right way to do this

Without knowing the details I'm not sure.

How much det can you put on it vs. crit. for example.
I'm thinking parry + crit. Since the Conq. does acc. crit. But maybe crit det or parry acc.
Many options. It might just depend on what coil drops I manage to get when I'm actually read to make the novus.

Currently sitting at 535 Acc while using Bravura Animus. Cap in t9 is somewhere around 515, so I need to lose accuracy - not gain it.

Generally (not just me currently) I think it is designed so that you're supposed to have Accuracy on a certain number of items, and none on other items. So which do you want Novus to be? I can't see a clear wrong answer.

So for me it'll come down to how much of each is offered. Probably Parry/Crit or Parry/Det. The weights of Crit and Det are known, so it's just see how much of each can go on Novus and math gives a clear winner. Crit/Det would be defensible if you want offense more than Parry, but I like parry.

I would do parry and DEX. T2 coil and sol gear will help you meet accuracy cap

Definitely parry/det. While the thought of having crit/det is nice, a lot of the gear that drops in coil and the weathered stuff has crit already on it. Acc seems pretty useless since the 110 gear will more than likely put you over the acc cap for bc2. Plus we are tanks, I'll take a flat increase over variable damage output any day.

Considering the high allagan axe has accuracy it seems somewhat prudent to build your gear list with that in mind. You can make the Novus a mini-high-allagan with acc parry.

Parry is at least understandable, if not that important. Dex is just ridiculous and people would/should laugh at you.
