Indeed, I didn't want to come off as an ass against anybody, but it is frustrating when you're trying to get a point across and all someone does is point out a typo you made or completely dismiss you as a child because you have an opinion opposite to theirs.

I AM happy we have a date, just not happy that the other patches might be delayed as a consequence since they have content I'm really really looking forward to.

I understand. If there is anything that can be said about ALL of you, is that you are true gamers and, I think, true gamers or very passionate in their opinions, their statements, and in their defense of those opinions and statement. I don't think that anyone is being overly obnoxious here, or at least not trying to be.

As for the date, I am hoping that they are true to their word that patches after 1.18 would start coming faster than before.

I just hope they stay true to that Summer 2011 schedule, that's all. If all of that stuff really is in the game by September I'll be not only happy but genuinely confident in this new team.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they pass the deadline.

But if that means bringing out a more fleshed-out patch, I'm all for it. They already rushed the game, and look where that brought them. So delays aren't a bad thing unless they're like Blizzard and took 8 months to release a patch *cough*Diablo 2 and StarCraft*cough*

Yoshi stated in the letter xi dated 6/14/11 they were finished with the 1st raid, with the 2nd close on it's heals. They knew then, they were planning on mid July for this patch release. Which we all know now is 100% false. It's hard to take their word, with thir current track record. Something seems off.

To touch on some other items under development, I’m happy to say that work on one raid area is complete, with the second hot on its heels. We just need to secure enough time for testing and optimizing balance…which, I’m afraid, will push the patch behind schedule. I’m very sorry for this, but given the tremendous size of the patch, I estimate that it’ll take two more weeks beyond the anticipated mid/late-June release date to deliver it to our fans.

Ahh... Know I know, it's his perception of time. He should have stuck to his guns about not stating a time frame with being 100% positive, at least then I could respect the man more, and have more patience with him. I know he is caught in-between a rock and a hard place though, holding 2, 7 off suit sux's balls.

But come on even his date, and his 1st specific date that is greater then 3 days in advance letter no less, has a leeway of 1-2 days, so it's really between July 21st - 23rd.

I would be happy, and would gain more respect for the man, and team if they stated, "I know I F***ed up about the previous time frame, but we can't seem to get s*** straighten out, with out scrapping the entire game and starting from scratch. Tanaka's team royally f***ed things up...Big time "
