Microsoft only cares about big numbers. To Microsoft 2 million is not impressive yet 5 million will make them reconsider and 10 million is a number they are forced to acknowledge.

If Yoshida really wants it on Microsoft's platform then he's really gonna have to consider making FFXIV 10 Million active players strong.

Where do these numbers come from? To compare XIV already beat XI in terms of the user base. I think both MS and SE benefit from XIV on X1. I hope Phill Spencer will see it that way as well.
