They didn't say but it's presumed to be either i100 or i105, with the sands and oils also dropping to upgrade soldiery gear to i110.

Well depends on how far 2.X will go.

At the end of Coil 1 it was mentioned there were only 2 coils remaining after Coil 1 and we have Coil 2 already which leaves the Coil Storyline ending in Coil 3.

If CT storyline ends with CT Raid 3 in 2.5 then most likely the expansion will be released after 2.5

That's what I was thinking too. We pretty know who the final boss is for Coils 3. Now accessing Coils 3 I think would probably be Boulder Downs as you can actually see the Allaghan construct there.

Coil 3 is at the Burning Wall in East Thanalan as it's another fallen fragment of Dalamud. The Boulder Downs in Coerthas is presumed not to be a part of Dalamud as it has erupted UP out of the ground instead and the corrupted crystals surrounding it are of a different colour. My guess is that the Boulder Downs will be the entrance to a new 4-man dungeon in 2.4 or 2.5.

That the Blue Aether in their bodies.

As already mentioned in the lore different Aether crystals have different Aether colors and Blue Aether is known for being Pure Aether.

Crystal Tower main source of power is Blue Aether and the bosses are powered by the Blue Aether since they were reanimated as Aether powered Super Cyborgs by the Allagan Civilization as mentioned in CT 1 story.
