I've done 411 as i100 MNK with Glanzfaust in Turn 8 while in charge of Brainjack. With an ilv106 build and the same weapon, I would think around 420+ would be the mark.
I don't know why you're comparing yourself to me, especially since I say some of my auto attacks are lost because of the legacy mode.
Yes, but using x-potions to parse yourself? I can average 390 with just HA weapon on dummies without the potions... And that 400 DPS monk also used 110 Glanzfaust if I recall correctly.I'm jelly. 106 is insain lvl for monk at this time. 410 with dummy with ilvl 110 sold weap is awesome, but that video on YouTube of " 400 DPS monk", set the standard. And that cat was at the time like ilvl 95. No1 cares he spent a week and 2 stacks of x-pot str to get best results. But, he did it.
To answer your question, apparently your kb works just fine. Keep up the good work brother monk.
I wasn't attempting to compare myself to anybody. I didn't even post in direct response to you. I simply posted my metric after you asked for opinions on where your DPS stands.
Furthermore, I play on a gamepad. Yes, legacy controls. No strafing at all. Pretty sure I lose plenty of auto-attacks myself.
Hello, i don't normally bother with this and just do this stuff myself but i'm having trouble deciding what to purchase next with soldiery. I was thinking gloam bracers because i won't have access to second coil items for a while. I quit playing for several months and am stuck trying to pug through t5 fun fun~ got much harder when hunts came. But that's beside the point.
tl'dr http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/NEYC not sure what to get next with sold.Don't have access to coil2 gear yet. Was thinking bracers. Advice?

Depends on if you want to do hunt and get sands soon to upgrade your left side or not. If Yes, buy them. If not, I'd rather go for weathered gloam ring, get an oil from ST, unweather it and get another weathered gloam ring after that if you don't have access to HA and/or Ramuh ring. The reason for this is that the Allagan hands really are so good statwise that the differnce the weathered gloam bracers make would be negligible. Different story ofc if you upgrade them to 110...Hello, i don't normally bother with this and just do this stuff myself but i'm having trouble deciding what to purchase next with soldiery. Ya i dont really plan to go ham on hunts. Only aiming for a single sand for my glantzfaust. So assuming no sands i should focus on my right side cuz i can upgrade to 110 with oils and allagan gaunts are good enough?thx for the advice.Depends on if you want to do hunt and get sands soon to upgrade your left side or not. There's a new Monk Temple Thread - this one is basically obsolete.
