Being "forced to get it" is not the problem. Being forced to go through the quest to get it is where people are upset. Novus is a significant upgrade for most jobs and second best in slot for all jobs. It's a big ticket item and people want it.

If a quest upsets you why are you doing it, it's not like you have to have it to do endcontent since there are alternatives.

And yeah no ones forcing me to do it. But its either that, or I get turned down by groups or have people quit mine because "LOL YOU AINT GOT GEAR SCRUB!"

I haven't had a group yet that turned me down because i have a i90 primal book
