Why dosnt SE let us quest to gain more anima space sort of like how Gobby Bags where in FFXI? This lets YOU have as much anima as YOU want and also adds content to the game. Is THIS not a happy medium?

Does this mean you can run to an aetheryte and then teleport anywhere??? because FFXIV is littered with these things, this wouldnt be much more trouble then just using anima anywhere you want.

This I can understand - It would give players an opportunity to be social - as a gathering point/meeting point.
Where everyone would be so you could find someone to repair your gear, party with, make friends, hold meetings, etc.
Yes it does but it's some middle ground from using it when and wherever you want, they still have to travel.



I've already discovered a grip of them, that's how i can teleport there now soooooo... does this option mean i can teleport to any of them from any crystal? because thats not much of a better option then the way it is now.

Now you can use the majority of your gametime to play the game when you log on instead of using the majority of your gametime "traveling" in order to play the game when you log on.
OR - wait for it - you can CHOOSE to use the majority of your gametime "traveling" in order to play the game when you log on ANYWAY!!!

Yeah but there are other type of restrictions you can place. Insert imagination...
Like only allowing the aetherytes in the current area or to certain camps....etc etc.
Alot of great suggestions were brought up, unfortunately no dev responseSome similar feelings to OP. Made a thread about teleporting only at Aetherytes

Here are some ideas I've said before:
1. Leave or limit the system we have now but make all add on areas null to Anima so that you cannot use it to leave or teleport to or from the new areas (and Mor Dhona/Coerthas whatever they are called).
2. Add in the goby bag method.
3. Limit how far you can travel with anima from your current area.
4. add all of the above together.
After all.. these areas are all pretty much starter areas, leave them easy.. but the new addon areas.. comon.. part of the danger of the game is traveling through some scary shit! You could use a chocobo or get a mage to teleport you to an area you've already visited, but these new areas (and the harder ones named above) should not be an easy traveling task like the starter areas.
