You do get some more ______ online, but it's a risk in any public setting. I've played games with built in voice chat for 3 or 4 years now. This game feels half a decade behind the times to me with how it doesn't have it built in.
So we should all just bend over and take any and all harassment because it's 2014. Heaven forbid that there's laws in many countries, mine included, against verbal abuse and that it's been proven ad nauseaum that verbal abuse can and does have detrimental effects on others. Especially when directed against young children who haven't had the benefit of the mental hardening of adulthood (that is, as we get older words 'should' have less and less of an impact on our psyche because we 'know better'). Afraid I can't agree with you at all.
And again, it's not even just that. Another, more appropriate, example (and again, warning for vulgar language).
