Yes, people are frequently full of it. Not everyone is though. So treating everyone like a bad player who uses excuses means eventually you'll end up just being an a-hole to someone who can't possibly do anything about it.

I'm not specifically saying you. Everything I wrote could be taken as a generic message to anyone reading it. I wasn't specifically making assumptions about you. No need to be so defensive.

There are people, many in this thread, who assume all players claiming lag are just lying. This message was to them, and they know exactly who they are.

ive seen people completely new to the fight try to blame lag, i mean cmon, its ok to admit you havent learned the rotation yet or havent practiced enough. being a little bit humble about your short comings and trying to learn from them will you a lot further than just using the first, easiest, and most overused excuse ever when you die.

lag does exsist, a few days ago the servers were very very laggy, it was experienced by many players across many servers at all times of the day, attempting end game content under these conditions is not wise, but then maybe blaming lag is a viable excuse. but if the only person in your party experiencing lag is you then that is kind of your problem.

I'm sorry, but I also have to agree that blaming lag is a scapegoat for lack of skill. I can absolutely say that lag exists, and my girlfriend and I had to deal with it ALL the time when dealing with Titan. We both got fed up and decided to upgrade our network environment, which meant buying a new/higher bandwidth router as well as a new modem, because the one Time Warner provided us on lease was balls. Since then, not a single issue.

Video games are a luxury item, MMOs and other games reliant on reliable internet connections even more so. SE is developing this game on the assumption that if you can afford a subscription-based MMO, you can afford to have non-"Fisher-Price" internet, to borrow a Mike Ross-ism. I'm not going to say SE's servers are perfect, but is it too much to ask to take responsibility for things on your ends?

Glad to hear your issue got fixed, just keep in mind the possibility to upgrade is not always there for everyone and (not directed at you) also keep in mind SE is hosting a "global game".

Many people who have issues here don't have any issues on other games, games that require a better latency (FPS / Action MMOs), yet they face problems in this tab-target game.
