Yes, people are frequently full of it. Not everyone is though. So treating everyone like a bad player who uses excuses means eventually you'll end up just being an a-hole to someone who can't possibly do anything about it.

Look, just because I blame people for making excuses doesn't mean that I'm going to chew them out or belittle them. Stop making assumptions when you know nothing about me. I'm not specifically saying you. Everything I wrote could be taken as a generic message to anyone reading it. I wasn't specifically making assumptions about you. No need to be so defensive.

There are people, many in this thread, who assume all players claiming lag are just lying. This message was to them, and they know exactly who they are.
