    It doesn't happen on any other game or form of media that I've experienced, I play a lot of games. I haven't tried those things though.

    Very odd then! Still try another display /just/ in case it's FFXIV with that particular display.

    The easiest way to fix an issue is to go down a checklist of changing settings/devices (considerably harder with a console obviously, your options are limited).
