PS4 Users, do you experience issues with your graphics flickering repeatedly?

I wanted to see if anyone else with a PS4 has noticed this problem I posted on Tech Support.

I posted this under tech support:


An issue has intensified when playing on my PS4. If I pan my camera, or move a really headache inducing flicker happens on all Plants, Trees, Grass, detailed walls such as grated walls or brick walls.

If I had to compare this to anything else, it's like running through a dark room with a strobe light.

To be clear, this only happens to the specific items in the world I listed.

That sounds like either an issue with your television or your PS4, have you tried changing your display temporarily?

Such as taking it to a friends house to see if the issue replicates?

It doesn't happen on any other game or form of media that I've experienced, I play a lot of games. I haven't tried those things though.

The few times I've played on PS4, I haven't experienced this, no.

I use ps4 exclusively. It runs as well as it does on my PC copy, except I like it better :P.

Very odd then! Still try another display /just/ in case it's FFXIV with that particular display.

The easiest way to fix an issue is to go down a checklist of changing settings/devices (considerably harder with a console obviously, your options are limited).

Yeah, i play on PS4 and i've never had this issue myself :x

read your PS4 manual, I'm pretty sure that's one of the side effect they stated from playing and if that happens your should stop playing. has something to do with seizures or how ever you spell it.

might be your tv or ps4, try switching ps4 to another tv and seeing if its the ps4 if not might be the tv is going out.
