I'd hate to mention it but look at a game like Maple Story. It's added so many jobs over the past 3 years and it's still managed to valence out between the previous jobs. Just because a new job is added, doesn't mean everyone's going to play it. There are people who do like the current jobs.

My way of dealing with this: Stay as my white mage till the hype has died down in a week or two, keep getting my insta ques. Switch over to play the new class (which i'm very excited about) once balance is restored, and enjoy the fun of not waiting too long once again

Why are people so quick to say SE is lying, when their is still two live letters to go, the JP one and the final one, who knows they might reveal another secret in each one
Especially since the advert says "new classes" and so far they have only announced once class and one job

If you want to talk semantics, they lied because they didn't mention new jobs in the ad. Yes, we all know how meticulous SE is when it comes to wording and never making mistakes or leaving anything to the imagination or misinterpreting. Taking every single word as literally as possible, instead of with a grain of salt, is just setting you up for disappointment. Granted, I'm not saying there WON'T be "classes", just to not set your standards so high...

edit: just saw the MSK thing, but still don't know the role. They might pull a Sharla from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Well, this sort of demonstrates how hard it is to please everyone, which is impossible. I think they got the majority of the player base excited for Rogue/Ninja so in my opinion, mission accomplished. They also said they would be adding classes in major patches as well as expansions so...wasn't a surprise to me at all. As to your "petition" though, I strongly disagree.

@OP - Is it too oversimplified if I say, you don't have enough information to make a statement as it is factual?

If not, you don't have enough information to base this long statement as truth.

@Dev-Backend, Frontend, QA, entire team, Thank you for listening to the players and also keeping a promise, that was stated a while back, saying a new job will be out before the expansion.
