2.3 Frontline What do we know?

I was under the impression there would be no queues for Frontlines, wasn't it meant to be an open world PvP zone, rather than an instance?

You know TBH, they've never even said anything about it being instanced or anything either... We all just assumed it would be.. but hey now if it's an open world PvP zone, even better. And the best way to not get disappointed is to not have high hopes for it in the first place hahaha =P

Well, since it's not strictly 8v8v8 and will be 24 man+, it kind of has to be open world, doesn't it? Instances aren't that fluid in participation requirements thus far (short of people leaving after entering). It would fit with their comment that it'll be easy to get into for newcomers, too. You can just enter the zone and start participating with the event, rather than having to queue/find a group, while the "real" PvPers will form parties to participate, meaning 8v8v8.

Ever since it was first announced I was under the impression that it would be open world, can't remember what exactly they said that made me think that though. The only time I ever doubted that was when they came out with the 8v8v8 comment recently, but they ended up clearing that up. Guess we'll find out soon though, it's a big piece of 2.3s content so I imagine they'll touch on it in the E3 live letter, I hope they will at least...
