ACC, Det
Det, Crit
Would be the 2 best choices, be careful though, once you start you are locked in....
I'm going for max parry and the rest acc because conq is high acc with low crit. I'm hurting for acc in general (and, if I have too much, it's easier for me to get rid of acc than it is to get more), and it makes sense to allow for an optimal survivability and optimal damage option (if you want them perfectly interchangeable, you can put in 44 acc and 31 parry so taht the acc matches).
Im going for det for sure. However I'm a bit lost about the other stat. I don't need acc since I'm capped for t9. Why would I want parry over crit seeing that we don't benefit from parry as much as PLDs do?

I think ACC is probably the safest choice for the long run, and will probably open up gearing choices for better stat gains.
As for the 2nd stat, it probably doesn't matter.
If you believe in Parry (you shouldn't) then by all means go for it.
Personally im going Det.
Yes, this is what I was thinking. Not really a fan of parry for WAR.
As for the acc. Not that hard to cap especially when you'd go with the t7 pants which have 41 acc on it. I have not played with several sets yet, but it feels like it would open more for good secondary stats such as the T9 body and some nice stat on your novus too other than acc.
I'll check it out later.

Assuming you are in a static and are doing T9 or going to do T9 clears, the high allagan axe already has parry an acc plus its an i115. Hopefully I'll be able to reach it before 2.4 (3rd coil) but currently my static has some current rl issues and got set back by two weeks of no raids.I'm going for max parry and the rest acc because conq is high acc with low crit.
For any raiding war this would be the ideal goal as you will save yourself the trouble of grinding out myths, materia and alexanderites and depending on your static's skill and rng you could have the axe quicker than the novus. Plus you will also be gearing out in i110 armor/accessories as opposed to focusing on only one i110 weapon. I think I will go det/crit as the conqurer has acc/crit and the novus will act as my mediator in terms of a 'dps' tank. I'm currently sitting at i96 with 494 acc w/o food.
Max Parry, rest on ACC imo.
If you're going for all the 110 equips that maximise your parry then your ACC will be fairly low without a good amount on the weapon.
I know i'll have two weapons with the same setup and minimal difference in ilv once I get my hands on high allagan and novus but i'm hoping that when we can upgrade novus further, we'll be able to keep and further expand on the stats we already chose for it. This could mean if I kept adding Parry and Acc, i'd have a good setup going into future content/raids.
That's kind of the point. The high allagan battleaxe is going to replace any other axe you're using because it's itemized perfectly for tanking and also has the highest ilvl. Itemization consideration for the Novus has to be considered against the weapons that it's actually competing with, namely, Conquerer, which is acc/crit. As such, Conq is your DPS weap (acc/crit) whereas the Novus acts as your tank weap (parry/acc); as soon as you get HAB, it becomes both your tank weapon (higher parry and VIT) *and* your DPS weapon (weapon damage > all for DPS purposes).Assuming you are in a static and are doing T9 or going to do T9 clears, the high allagan axe already has parry an acc plus its an i115.
I would say the majority of the player base doesn't have access to T9.
And I know its pointless to speculate about what is after Coil 2.0, but if you are looking at the Zodiac weapon as a long term investment then I still say ACC is the way to go.
