Still not seeing where "all ages" and "no sex appeal" is coming from.

(And how is a game where you're encouraged and expected to run around stabbing small, woodland creatures "all ages?")

Oh come on slaying made up creatures...It should be 8 and above not even 12.
There are shooters that can be played from the age of 10.. Those have real violence.
If you see this game as violence... Then you need to open your eyes and see the world.

You seem to classify violence as inherently more acceptable than sex. Fine, whatever, that's between you and your mental health professional. Just remember to check game ratings to seek out "bloody viscera" and avoiding "kissing."

However...

1. Your personal preferences are your own and nobody else's. What you consider "good, wholesome family fun" isn't the same as everyone else's. Catering to different peoples' tastes and values is where these rating systems come from. And speaking of ratings...
2. The game's rating includes sexual content! Everywhere where it's legitimately sold, it says so right on the box! The gaming industry has been working long and hard at creating and implementing these systems so that everyone has the ability to make an informed decision. If you bought a game rated T or 12 or whatever and then are shocked and appalled by how high the hemlines are, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

This attitude that a game is intended for "all ages" in spite of all evidence showing otherwise is where these sensationalist "games are corrupting our children!" headlines comes from.

Short version: this is why we can't have nice things.

I don't mind skin but not the way guys would want it.
FF doesnt need sluts running around the server.
They need fun peoplke that love to play the game.
Games are for fun not for dating and such.

It would ruin the concept of Final Fantasy.

Having the occasional, optional striperiffic outfit doesn't equal opening a red light district in Limsa Lominsa to lure in sailors. It looks like you're having a kneejerk reaction over the word "sex."

Your free to give your opinion but, no where in my original post did I suggest anything about " nudity " " hentai" or anything like that. Ever heard anyone say "sexier with clothes on"? We are talking about fashion here, not about some deluded fantasy is sex.

Ex: I said ff11 had a good balance. But at no point in my seven years of playing ff11 did I ever come across any such thought that seem to be crossing your mind.
