Sex appeal ?

I'm a female, and I play a mage, well I don't want to 'exude sex' I would like to have some girly gear, not cutesy but feminine. Just saying. Maybe they could think changing out certain gear looks from women to men, like they did with the coatee. This may of been a troll thread, but my opinion on this is legitimate.

They surely will in the future have gear that looks different on girls (I'm thinking FFXI NIN AF legs). For now though the gear is purposely underwhelming so that when SE bring out new content it will look awesome. perfect selling point.

Just as ever dissapointded with those who feel the need to try and convince the Internet world of their own personal views.
Let's try to keep a level head and get some good ideas flowing and constructive advice sqenix can use to better the game.

I'll say it one more time. Big fan of ff and posted this thread for the betterment of ff14.
My thought was ff11 had a perfect balance of style, cute, sex appeal. They really did a good job. As to be expected of the man who did concept art for ff4 monsters, ff 7,8,9,10,10-2,11,13.
They changed artists for 12 and 14. While he is a brilliant architect and environmental painter, I think it would benefit the game if they pushed a little bit towards ff11.

Ff11 had a great feel to it. Nice balance of reality and fiction. This time around feels a little lacking un variety.

Xiv is chocked full of eye candy for the guys and the gals. Not to mention some of the npc dialogue which can range from racy to out right raunchy.

I understand Sex sell but right now the only race that really show more at the cats it was the same in FFXI it's the same in FFXIV. Now i don't want all the female race to look like there working at a strip joints.

You can make the female look hot without making them look like hoes and this is coming from a guy.

When seeing a male in full Tank gear and then seeing a female what do you see? the girls are half nude but they still as good as the male tanking gear really? your half nude how are you going to get hit less? I know this is a game and all but we still need some realism.

Yeah with tanking I can see them keeping it full plate. For maging though or lets say dd's, girls can show a little more skin nothing too slutty. Maybe its not even how the gear looks sex appeal wise, its just the gear is underwhelming as MattyWS said. Think how the "evil armor" shows the midriff area, more stuff like that. And then a little more flashy gear in the line of FFXI's homam set.

I'd at least want the NPC's to acknowledge the clothing on other NPC's lorewise. There are already instances of it here and there in dialogue - but I'd like more of it.

If anything I like how Paladin gear looked on girls. :3 Almost fully armored, but had shorts on instead of being full pants for men. Though I didn't like how it looked Mithras, it was just Underwear and legs were more revealed.

Sometimes the least revealing is more sexy :3

I have to agree showing less but still somewhat showing is very sexy. Like the dark knight Gear that we getting for FFXIV it show a little but still revealing. There no need to have our females in the game half nude in battle this is not porn but you still need some type of sex appeal i guess.
