Not sure why I always open these threads when all they contain is complaining and whining. It took me 1.5 years in FFXI to get Phobos's Gauntlets in Salvage. Get over it, this is nothing.

lol, dang. Salvage drop rates were awful back then. Old Dynamis was another one, praying every run for your piece of rare relic to drop and not get outlotted, specially in Xarcabard. I don't remember exactly how long it took me to get the RDM hat, but I think many people went years without seeing theirs until they finally got it to drop. Haha, fun times.

And in relation to topic, this is why I usually don't bother with these achievements, because I know SE. :P I bet it is frustrating having to get the right conditions, so I rather save myself some stress. I'll just do it every now and then. There really isn't any rush, the game is not going anywhere.
