This can be argued as one of the reasons SE won't be touching the Atma drop rate for 2.3, because more people than expected have acquired an Atma or Animus weapon. Which can also be used to argue that the forum complainers here are an insignificant minority of the userbase; and, that a larger portion of the userbase either enjoys, doesn't mind, or is at least willing to do the Relic content.

It goes on further to show that the OP (assuming he isn't just trolling), is putting on this show in vain.

Sure you could say a majority of people hate the grind, but what I see in the forums is mostly the same people posting over and over again. All that is neither here nor there though. As you said in the post I quoted before, the data has spoken.

maybe if you need 5 items to trade them for an atma and you get them from the GC shop for 50k seal each.

And yet again, if someone is stupid enough to buy from gil sellers, then they are ready enough to get banned. It is out in the open that buying from a gil seller is not okay in Square's books. If people would stop paying for money from gil sellers, they'd stop getting banned, and there wouldn't be a demand for the gil sellers to meet if people were to take some self accountability. Again:

The OP knew what he was getting into when he did it. No one held his lunch away from him saying "You HAVE to do this!" Yes, grinding kind of sucks but if it sucks so badly then stop doing it. If so many people really hated it as much as they really did they'd stop doing the updated relic quest. Square even keeps track of these things. If people just didn't participate at all, then square would take note of this and respond in one way or another. Proof of this is the delay in the Novus quest. Not as many people as they though had got to Animus so they delayed the continuation. I'm not saying for the masses to do this, I'm just saying that Square pays more attention to if you participate or not as opposed to using the "Discard" function.

I'm curious to know who actually LIKES this crap.
I think there was one topic about it, probably got took over about topics who dislike it. I still have a hard time believing people
actually enjoy it. The ones who do, probably got their Atma's in a week or less of their grind and had RNG God's praise them.
Now tell me if you like you began since 2.2 and still haven't gotten it lol. The people who are in-game
are either just silent about it, probably like it, or forcing themselves to do it. I've yet to met ones who did.
From what I seen in-game. My FC/LS were moaning and groaning for the most part and forced themselves to do it.
Since it was really boring...I was advised to watch a series as I grind lmao.

Only if there's a comment box when you unsubscribe that you can fill out telling them exactly why you quit. If you just unsub without saying anything they won't know why.

Actually, unsubbing does NOTHING to make a statement. They will literally have no clue as to why that person left, and it could be for a million reasons besides Atma. If you genuinely want change, you need to tell people what the problem is, it's 1st grade logic here people.

Besides, if it's just the Atma grind they dislike, that doesn't mean they despise the rest of the game. I too hate the atma grind, and think it's basically the dumbest move SE have ever made since removing elemental weaknesses from the game. Does that mean I hate the game? Not at all. I spent weeks farming to get my Atma not because I wanted to, but because I had to if I ever wanted to get an upgrade.

Wave weapons are just not a real alternative now that they're adding the customization options. Eventually, everyone will have to go through this grind.
