The only people that have benefited from this latest addition to the Relic quest are the gil sellers who will gladly sell you the many millions of gil required to get the materia necessary to fulfill this quest. Good job SE!

"Many millions" yeah, cause I-III(which is most of what you have to meld) now costs millions and you totally can not spiritbind in this game, it comes from the holy ghost of the market board!

Exactly, the weapon almost screams to be done at one's own pace, there is no invisible force pushing anyone to go do it faster and faster in fact i'd say it's the opposite.

OP is entirely justified to despise FATEs and think they are boring. They are. Especially the lower level ones. Not to mention the problems with scaling, etc. FATEs suck. I think many of us agree on that point. (Even if we enjoyed farming Atma.)

What I find a tad ridiculous is starting a thread with a post and a pic that comes off very much as a glorified temper-tantrum. "I don't like FATE so I throw my Atma on the ground!" Toddlers usually learn to stop throwing food off their plates before they reach two.

The OP could have made a statement of their dislike of FATEs and the whole Atma leg of the Relic path in a better way. Instead, it was worded in a way that seems deliberately intended to provoke people into disagreement, opposition, and plain old taunting.

It makes OP's point less easy to get behind or sympathize with.

Behavior like this isn't what is going to suddenly inspire SE to "nerf" Atma drops.
