In that case, if he's going through FF burnout, he should play something else to get refreshed. ARR isnt the only game out there.

I went through that once, everyday felt like a chore just to log in. Then I took 2 -3 weeks off and played other stuff, and when i came back, it didnt feel like the same chore, like before.

If he's really trying to make a statement, he should just unsubscribe the game. Atma isnt the only content nor is it THE content that makes or breaks the game.

Things will change with 2.4 since that is when it's expected that the ilevel will go up again.
SE is still not going to just give you the relic atma/animus/novus without you doing anything to get it though.
Probably make the ATMA's purchasable through tomes or GC seals.
Price for books for animus not going to change (may change currency and scale accordingly), but less work will be required to get them.

people do realise, if no one bothered doing atmas like at all or the extreme few even still did it, they wouldnt bother with it, they delayed 2.28 when they saw the data on how many people had animus, if no one proceeded, would they of bothered, would they of tried to focus on other content?, more then likely, they would change the design or scrap it if no one did it, why bother putting in resources in something no one will actually do. They can see the data, they will act on the data if people still trying or not
