    In patch 1.19 3country Airship/Chocobo Related/Materia Craft/Recipe improvements should increase ways to utilize the gil.
    Did I miss something?! o_O

    TBH, I think one of the big reasons why people are so poor is because they fail their guild leves. I don't craft often, (heck I've only logged in for leves the past two months) and I'm sitting near 4 mil on my character, and about 500k-1mil on my retainers. This all came from collecting guild leve rewards.

    People throw out these huge gil numbers all the time; odd that there isn't a single screenshot in this thread yet showing such, even though that's what it's supposed to be for...

    I'm poor because I'm R24 so I only get like 8-10k per leve :P

    Its not worth the time making a screenshot and uploading it, making gill is simply too easy.

    I recently reached the three million mark. I've made that amount through mining and leves and I dont even play that much. Hope the gil sinks introduced are not too severe.
