sorry but taking a quote about pirates off of the discovery channel is stupid.

guys this is a fantasy game. It's in the flippin title.

Stop over dramatizing every aspect ppl want. These are video games.
Anyone using the immersion excuse better be role players who walk and not run, have names turned off. And "sleep" at night. Or i will scream you break immersion by not doing those.

some of the complaints ppl give for positive changes is getting really annoying. Alot of classes can benifit from swimming.

    Bonecrafters, goldsmiths, fishers, botenists.

I'm pretty sure that out of everyone that's posted in the entire English section of the forums, I'm the only one who has gone on record saying "I would like to see a playable aquatic race".

Yeah, it's Final Fantasy, and yeah, there have been subs, undersea trenches, facilities and even underwater sports in the FF series, so it isn't that big of a stretch to say it could be possible/awesome in FFXIV. I'd more than welcome it, but it has to make sense within the game. If they want to introduce undersea zones or content or stuff that fits, then do it.

I'm more afraid of having half-assed systems that feel awkward than having the systems themselves.
