animus and high allagan pants looks like a good pair!

im not even sure Rosenbogen is necessary unless you have more high allagan gear like t7 mask and t8 ring.

Weapons are always the biggest upgrades for a DPS class, so if you get to upgrade, go ahead.

Rosenbogen alone doesn't cause you problem, but when used together with Auroral Tabard it might cause accuracy issues. Solvable if you have some of the soldier accessories.

Headgear should not be an issue since the Allagan Visor of Aiming gives 21 acc. High Allagan version is just 4 more acc.

T8 ring will be a necessity to use High Allagan Pants if you are already using Rosenbogen + Auroral Tabard.

You can check out my lodestone to see how it is like when you are being squeezed to the edge on accuracy - I'm using Rosenbogen + Auroral Tabard and 4 soldier accessories and I'm just at 507 acc without food. If I get the HA pants I will have a 34acc drop which I will need to at least switch out my Hero's Ring to the Allagan Ring (+16 acc) and change food to Lava Toad Legs to maintain T9 accuracy.

Really interested in this as well. Though I was considering pushing Det as the higher valuer and let Crit become the second one, with less points increase. Any thoughts?

Shouldn't it be 31-22? I think there's dimishing value for the second stat chosen.

Is there a source that says you can't use all 75 points if you pick Determination? I think it's just a cap on that stat (31 points), so you still have 44 to play with. Yes, that means Novus weapons can be better than Soldier weapons, but it would be much simpler to understand than trying to figure out how many points you have left if you have X number of Det.

Now, my question is.... CRIT+ ACC or CRIT + DET?? Is there a clear winner?

There is no diminishing value for stats. Novus can indeed have 31 determination and 44 critical hit rate.

Haha yeap that was based on the old assumption that same stat costs applies to Novus, which is now proven not

515 is frontal accuracy if you'd bother - which only applies when you are tanking the blue golem and during phase 4 when you are stacking for lunar dynamo + elemental attacks you might be attacking from the front.

But if you aren't too bothered about 1 or 2 possible misses then 491 is the flank accuracy for T9.

44 crit and 31 det is a clear choice. Don't bother with Accuracy because you should be able to fix accuracy in other ways and eventually High Allagan Bow is an accuracy bow. And 44crit31det is the only way to make it better than Rosenbogen.. if you make a Novus that is lesser than the Rosenbogen, might as well don't bother
