FFXIV 1.0 was actually made to be very appealing, it's just everything else made the game virtually unplayable 90% of the time.

FFXIV 1.0 had that sense of adventure and unexpected discovery... Something 2.0 really doesn't have.. Least to me.

Don't get me wrong, 2.0 has a ton of potential and I'm also curious to see how Yoshida will answer to everyone.
