After 12 Atmas, then what - 1,500 myth x 9?

Ok, this can't possibly be correct can it? Please tell me I'm completely wrong. So I've managed to collect about 6 atmas. Going to focus on getting the remaining 6, but just read some VERY disturbing news. After I collect all 12, I turn them in and the ilevel goes from 90 to 100 but NO stat changes yet. For this I need to go to another place and upgrade 9 stats (varied on weapon) for 1,500 myth tomes EACH? Is that correct? So after I farm for 12 atmas I will need 13,500 myth tomes to get the benefit? That can't possibly be correct can it? Please tell me it's 1,500 for all 9 not just one. Two places I found each said this but that's insane.

It'll take you some time if you wanna do it the easygoing way and collect your Mythos via Roulette bonuses.

Or you can go psycho on Brayflox runs. WHMs are always in demand for Brayflox, especially when they are nuke-happy.

Yes, this is correct. Each book for an upgrade to your atma weapon = 1,500 myth and there is 9 of them.

That is 100% correct, although you start getting benefit after completing your 1st book(1st 1500 myth spent). People usually just brayflox speed run to get their myth, or you can just do the duty roulettes and should have enough myth to buy a new book every 4 or so days if you don't want to spam bray sr.

I recall in Live letter they aren't changing it for 2.28.

They really should have made the Atma version +1 weapon damage then the Animus version an additional +1 instead of Atma +0 and Animus +2.. doing those Atmas for no boost is pretty sad

I've given up on the books, just passively collecting them when I eventually reach enough soldiery; only gotten 3 so far.

I was really excited and happy initially with the Atmas; I liked the fate farming. I understand people can be frustrated because of the RNG of things, but to me it was refreshing. I was out in the world, I was grouping with people, socializing, it was great; even the randomness of it all made it feel that much more rewarding.

The dungeon grind? Doesn't feel rewarding in the least bit. Instead it becomes a monotonous job that ultimately just made me give up faster than any thing having to do with fates. I could do fates for hours on end; 2 dungeons in and I just want to quit the game.

At least you're always making progress, with the atma books, unlike waiting to get lucky with the atma themselves.
