I am deleting the oldest names. Why should I have the chore of cleaning out the blist so frequently because SE doesn't manage RMT better?

I have to add I do delete and try to keep 5-10 max in blacklist but I do forget and would be nice to check names and mass delete them. Also would be nice to have categories so you could move actual players you blacklist to it and remember who is who.

How much do I have to pay SE to make my blacklist capacity bigger?
That's what the suggestion is about, letting us delete the older names easier. Right now, clearing out the older names is a real chore, since they have to be removed one at a time, with a separate confirmation for each one.
A bigger blacklist would take longer to fill for the first time, but once full you'd still need to delete old ones at the same rate you're adding new ones no matter what the total size is. The only thing that would change is how old the oldest ones are. It's already big enough for the oldest RMT entries there to be gone from the game (whether banned or deleted).
What I'd like to see is two separate blacklists, one for RMT and one for people you simply don't like, and then for the RMT blacklist to auto-delete the oldest whenever it needs more space to add a new one. (And adding names to that RMT-specific blacklist should ideally be a side effect of the "Report RMT" right-click option we've been asking for since the game was released.)
Short of that, the OP's suggestion would be a big help to make managing our current blacklist easier. So I'd like it in the interim until a better blacklist system can be added.

Okay, but what's wrong with making it easier overall? Especially sense Square seems to be content with just randomly banning a few of them once a month.
Greetings,
Thanks for the suggestions! We handed off your feedback to the development team and they are currently looking into if this would be possible.

How about saving us the trouble altogether by auto temp-banning anyone who spams /tells to more than say 10 different people within a very short given time frame. If they get temp-banned multiple times, they should get flagged for perma-band if they're selling RMT services. Feasibly I don't think anyone is going to be talking to 10+ people at one time in /tells, so I don't believe it would be an issue for anyone who isn't auto-tell spamming.

Log in, delete 10 RMT, get spammed while deleting, add 20 new RMT

Camate, please check out Warcraft's report feature. Its available in public chats and tells. It adds people to a temp blacklist for the player who reports, but if enough players report a person, that person is more or less muted from public chats and tells temporarily or maybe until they log off and back in... I'm not sure exactly how it works. While I haven't seen it on my server, this also works to deter auto-translate spam. RMT don't use their accounts for very long so a temp mute would be very detrimental to them.
