Cool. I know that probably took a lot of time.

Lately I went exploring with a friend and it was really fun for hours because we didn't look at the map and just used whatever we saw while running around (like special trees, cliffs, fences, etc.) to find our way.
After some time we saw a beautiful little place we wanted to get to, but there was no direct way so we searched for another 20 min until we finally found a cave leading to the place we saw before.
It was fun up to this moment, but when we walked in, there was nothing.
There was nothing special about it, no sense of achievement, because it was not rewarding at all. No special quest, shop, mob, whatever. Not even some background information to the story (I'm someone who loves that and reads every NPCs dialouge).
On topic:
The video was sweet
I didn't watch it to the end though because somewhere in the middle I noticed there were some areas shown I haven't explored yet, and I don't like to spoil my fun![]()

It seems armature like you didnt realise, and your zooms are also unaligned and all over the place, simple things like holding shift keeps set ratios, and onto ratios your video res is all over the place but on average does not fit standard dimensions, so you're stuck with 2 very annoying borders on left/rightm
Ah well you said you were new so can only get better, its all experience!
Def had some good shots in there, but compared to FFXI (yeah yeah, i said FFXI) FFXIV just doesn't compare.

Geeze, guys, harsh much? I thought it was a bit excessive to make multiple posts cutting it down. If you're really going for constructive criticism, make some bullet points on how you would recommend improvement in one post and leave it at that.
I thought it was great for being new to video editing. The negativity in here is getting so sickening, I love seeing something positive, for a change.
And the music was a fantastic choice, IMO. You used something very natural, with acoustic instruments. I liked how some of the scenery changes in the beginning were in sync with the guitar chords. It starts slow, then picks up, moving you through the video like a journey. Scenery videos pair very well with music like this, creating a pleasant viewing experience. It just made me smile while watching, which I imagine would be a desired effect.
Considering this game's soundtrack uses everything from recorders and drums for a medieval feel in La Noscea, to progressive rock battle music, Nobuo Uematsu pretty much decided that anything goes. I felt the music in this video fit in quite nicely (and thank the Gods you didn't choose any cheesy J-pop).
