You can dodge casting spells placing you behind the boss, like thunder III on the first boss AK, or abilities as Garuda or the first boss on "Lost City".
I did one time haukke manor hm has tank, and the last boss cast the thunder, turn and hits me. I dk if you can dodge or not.

Negative, commander. You can't dodge these attacks in Haukke HM. All you can do, is stun them/silence them in order to build your LB and ONLY before she eats the first add. Then you can't stun/silence her anymore. But yeah, you can dodge almost every cast/magic attack by going to the enemy's back.

Intopic: I don't see how is that a exploit. Is a different tactic and you can mess it up as well. It requires timing. it's like stacking giants in T7. You stack 4 giants and they don't spawn anymore. Or you can kill one giant and petrify the other one. Tactics are tactics. If they work for you, so be it.

You can dodge Lady Amandine's Thunder III and Fire III attacks just by going behind her (making Dark Mist the only attack you need to worry about as a tank). I think that's impossible with Halicanusses(?) though.

Some you can. Go behind it during the cast and it will miss. There are frontal cone ones and AoE ( the ones where you actually see red markings on the ground ). The Frontal Cone ones, you can avoid, same for first AK Boss.
