Just wanted to say...Thats our parse from 2 weeks ago.
As you can see a few people here confirm that summoner do exceed 400 DPS, that was with Ifrit and ilvl 110 weapon.
You censored the names on the list but the names are fully displayed on the charts, LOL![]()

One more question, sometime auto-attack cancelled when I right-click to change camera angle and I forgot to click on Boss again.
Is there any way to lock auto-attack on target ?
I tried to bind auto-attack with B2MB spell but it go on/off due to I am spamming the buttons![]()
Miasma 2 and Shadow Flare increase dps at the cost of greater MP consumption. I end the fight with close to 0 MP, if I were to use them more I'd run out too soon and would need more ballad which I'm not comfortable asking for considering that would mean less foes, which also benefits the blm. Or I would need to energy drain which is even worse.
For auto attack just put Avatar on focus target and make a habit of frequently right clicking on the focus frame, which initiates auto attack.
Is that with Ifrit on obey or sic?Ifrit is significantly more dps as long as you have a monk, even with proper use of contagion. This holds true for Turn 6/8/9, Garuda is closer on T7. I've only played with Ifrit since i103, so can't speak for anything less than that. The difference from then on though is very significant.
Monk will increase Ifrits Skill Dmg (about 10%)
War can increase Ifrits AA Dmg (about 10%)
I usually use Ifrit for 6/8 = 400+ EncDPS (110weap) ilvl 101
In Turn 9 i will start using Ifrit in Last Phase.
Say what you want but Iftit is stonger than Garuda :P
Test it yourself!
Garuda was always better than Ifrit(Single Target), but after a Hot Fix or something like that it changed! (between 2.1 -2.2)
And btw with Contagion you can cast 3 more Ruin's every minute. Worth it?
(Mana issues and buffed Dot's are another thing :P)
I have Monk and War in my Raid and the ScoB is defenetly Melee friendly.
No Reason for me to go with Garuda!

Serious question, how much more DPS does Ifrit have to do for you guys to actually consider him viable? Do note that I said viable and try to keep balance in consideration otherwise we end up with the current situation where we only have one goto pet.
For me, he does 20~ DPS more than Garuda when you factor in blunt/slashing debuffs. Personally, one of the main buffs that I feel Ifrit needs is movement speed or some kind of shoulder tackle skill so he can quickly get next to an enemy without wasting too much time chasing them down.
on a side not, but maybe still on topic, coming from a tank. Will Ifrit (or Garuda for that matter) be considered closest target for brainjack, if you put them, let's say inside the boss?
