Loosing Sound in-game

I've also encountered this. Heck, sometimes my PS4 has no sound at all after booting. Even in the main menu outside of a game.

i can't speak for everyone else situation. especially since it was mentioned that users have had this issue on their laptop/pc as well.

but i CAN speak for your occurrence. what this is is a fail on the HDMI link. some TV's have this issue. something about a handshake. the only thing you need to do to resolve this is to turn your display off and then back on. it's an HDMI link issue. not really an issue with the PS4. it is just the way the display communicates through the HDMI link.


though it is possible the others are experiencing the same thing as well. a mis-communication through the HDMI link. a simple turn off and turn on of the display should fix it. it always does for me. but i have never had it occur during mid-game.
