Wait till I gather everything together, then you can knock your self out healing. For SCH, I notice that the fairy gets aggro right away because she heals me as I'm gathering mobs.
Just know that even on Obey, the fairies will use Embrace (their standard heal).
In fact, even when they are on steady they will use Embrace. The only way to have her not heal at all is not having her summoned.

Having her on Obey will stop her from spamming all her cooldowns, which is what you will want regardless anyway.
No one wants a silly fairy spamming cooldowns when everyone has full hp and were not even fighting.

As a white mage I use Fluid Aura ONLY when:
    1. Some mob ran to me while I am miles away +
    2. There are no dps nearby to grab it +
    3. Tank doesn't seem to be doing anything either.
Then, and only then, will I kick the bloody thing, and in the direction of the tank.
No need to kick it if the tank is already on its way, or standing 2 feet away.

(I also use it one the guildhest with the turtle, you can kick it halfway to the herb patch that way).

Oh yeah, that's right. I guess then either have no fairy until after the pull (swiftcast Summon), or let the tank run out of range of the fairy.

If you get knocked down enough in Hp at the start of a pull to trigger embrace, something is wrong.

I dunno what exactly happened, but I lost aggro on 2 mobs while I was running and they were attacking the fairy. She must have healed me when I just lost Galvonize. I'm iLVL 90+, so mt defense is good enough to pull big groups.

Also, don't pull if you see me casting it. If you don't pay attention to such things, start doing so. As a Scholar, I ALWAYS Adlo the tank before a pull, and most of the time I end up getting hate because it lands the instant the tank pulls with tomahawk or shield lob.

Normally I'll start it then cancel it as the tank looks like he's running in but sometimes he hesitates, so I think he's waiting for Adlo, but then he charges in anyways. Ugh!
Personally I prefer to throw Adlo only after the tank got his enmity rotation up and running.

Errrr...not sure this is going to happen imho.
The last thing I want to do is to use SC to summon when it is better to use for a raise.

You shouldn't really worry about that for trash, even in brayflox. If someone dies it's going to be the tank and if that happens you probably aren't recovering even if you raise him. Although I've never had a problem with the fairy being attacked in brayflox pulls, but you can swiftcast a shadowflare.

Gliders might be a exception if they decide to single someone out so maybe save it there.

I love all healers and DPS who are willing to sit back at the start of a battle, and let me get my Enmity rotations up and running.

Give me 15 seconds at the opening of the fight, (light parties, anyway) where the rest of the party does exactly *nothing*, other than run to a good tactical position, and I know barring extreme bad luck or extreme poor play, we'll win.

If you need 15 seconds to establish a viable enmity cushion, you're a terrible tank. At *worst*, you should need 7.5 seconds to get your first RoH/BB combo off, and, even then, no one is likely to pull off of you if you've started with a Lob/Tomahawk before going into your starting combo.

I laughed so hard reading this. You're a good joker!
