I was on subject. I talked about two things they said in comment, I did not break ToS.

Enkrateia's didn't like what I said but chose to keep the other persons comment up who started it, which if you wanna get technical its basically the same but they are telling you, I am replying back.

So in other words it should of been the teller who should of been deleted also with my comment. Enkrateia's shouldn't mix personal feelings with their job.

Show me where I broke ToS if so cause replying meaning they broke tos also. if you cant, get favoritism out of here.

It has nothing to do with being politically correct. Frankly, people bitch over words for no reason. Basically it's more to do with following the game lore, and making it a but more... unique.

The discrimination would be against players in the game. Has nothing to do with real life. Has to do with in game people being denied in game options. When you put in your opinion on morality or "choice" that deals with the real life concept of same-sex marriage.

I didn't see which post was deleted, so maybe I'm wrong, but I saw a lot of your other posts and you just admitted to talking about real life. I do find it funny how much you are complaining about a deleted post on a forum, yet you don't understand how people are mad about not being able to participate in an in game feature based on "favoritism" or whatever you want to call it.

So yeah. In "real life" I would find this compromise wrong, but since we aren't talking about real life I do really love this idea of "Menphina's Pledge" for the game.

In general, I have a reactionary response to moments where people attempt to rebrand "marriage" as something else, normally since in the real world that's been a way to continue harping on same-gender couples to set them apart from "married" couples.

However, I wouldn't mind if the overall ceremony was referred to as "Pledge of Menphina" or something along those lines... but I would still refer to it as "marriage" as that's essentially what it is and the term "marriage" doesn't really belong to any specific cultural or religious group -- it is used in law. Regardless of that, I would still hold that the game ought to allow same-gender couples regardless of what they refer to the marriage system as, since it's only fair to give equal access to a feature to the entire playerbase, without arbitrarily forcing players to reroll, or fantasia, characters just so they may use the system with their own significant other, or use the system with whomever they wanted to use it with. I could not care less what opponents of same-gender couples have to say on the matter, their position doesn't entitle them to rewrite Eorzean lore in order to exclude players from in-game features (rewriting as in banning such relationships in-game).

I got an easy one for ya. it would satisfy everyone, give us a way to get the outfits and the rings(everyone has access to both male and female rings) and let us engrave them. then we can RP our own weddings. we shouldn't need an NPC or NPCs for this. and we also get a certificate from an NPC while wearing the engraved rings of our partners(optional ofcourse). this way nobody gets left out and SE isnt getting into any of the grey areas they would rather avoid.

No, it is their childlike features. They may not be children lore wise, but they definitely look like 4 year olds in real life. They most certainly do not have the features of human adults, or even of midgets/dwarfs.
