More Themed Events/Gear

I would personally rather them focus on improving current gear.

The designer mentioned that they were using their "resources" for stuff like the spring dress. I could care less about that. I want to put awesome upgraded gear on and be actually wow'd from it.

but an "we survived the calamity" anniversary event for eorzea would be not bad.

Even so, we still have gear in the likes of the original Warriors of Light as others have said, so I don't think it would be a stretch to continue that trend in the next CT.

Warrior of Light is more like a job, not exactly the name of a specific character (same as Onion Knight). So I doubt that CT2 give you gear from a specific FF character. Maybe the armors from the FF IX Alexandria guards or something like this.

I really don't understand why people are so opposed to this kind of stuff. Every Final Fantasy makes references to previous games. If it will make people happy, why not do it? If you personally don't want the gear styled on previous instalments, then don't use it. I just don't see how it affects you what someone else is wearing.

P.S. If your response is the standard response of "I HAVE TO SEE THEM WEARING IT!" I think you need to get your priorities sorted if what somebody else is wearing in a game is getting to you that badly.

Is the picture you posted showing new seasonal items? Or it's just the previous yukata and stuff from the last summer event?

The Monk's next AF armor is basically Yang, I'd love to see Cecil and Rosa and Rydia gear. Please, add Rydia's gear... I will become a Summoner if you do.

I'd personally like some FFT love. Whether it be an event, from a new duty (like CT), or even just like a hairstyle or vanity, I care not. Just love FFT =p

Maybe even do the dungeons and get tickets like at a Game Arcade, trade them in for the vanity clothes?
