I still stand by what I said then, even if it is a bit dated now, and I stand by what I say here in this thread. Can you do the same?I'd like to bring the idiots arguing withgilrean that they are arguing with this idiot that said darklight gloves was the best glove for whm http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ization-option
Yup ilevel70 gloves 100% better than i90 just like 500 damage > 1000, anyways won't spare any more energy on that

Darklight gloves vs i90+... I don't know what to say...
sad that Midgardsormr is in my data center?

I wouldn't wear Allagan anyway unless Scholar, Cleric's is the better upgrade until High Allagan. Still beside the point of this thread. If doing 500 less damage means I don't draw hate or the boss' particular killer mechanic doesn't activate then yes, I will do that 500 less damage. It's not always about my personal performance but the party. "No I in TEAM." and what not.

It's pretty easy to manage hate when you're using darklight gloves ehh?

And you lost the point when you start to bring in boss mechanics, because the thread is mainly about holding hate on multiple mobs, stated in the 1st thread and also first post on 2nd page by the OP.
If the brd or blm is attacking during the pull, before the mobs are gathered, the dps are being retarded. Once the mobs are gathered and then you lose hate, tank problem. As for speed running Brayflox as the OP mentioned, the only thing you can really do is spam flash and do circle of scorn/spirits within when available. Run out of MP? Fit some Riot Blade combos in, you don't really touch halone combo when there's that many mobs.
Even if it is just 3 mobs, if you got an AOEing blm, you are going to have to rely mostly on flash. Fast blade > Flash > Savage Blade > Flash > Rage of Halone until you are comfortable with the hate and then you can do your 1-2-3 or riot blade combo to get MP back
Bards very often pop all their buffs and forget to cast quelling strikes , at the start of a pull even, its pretty stupid.

number the mobs, spam flash, save provoke for those aggro loses
