I think it's more likely they just thought "Eh, Sastasha's boring, screw this."This reply is dedicated to the healer that dropped the group the moment a Sastasha run started while I was on the quest for it on a low-level alt of mine.
What's the matter, buddy?
Were you hoping for Tam-Tara? Or Halatali? Or Brayflox?
Were you filled with sudden terror at seeing that the tank was in gear that was only about five levels above what the dungeon was designed for rather than like five hundred?
"Oh no, I can't handle Sastasha with possible noobs, no no no! I am a spaz! And also a total baby!" --you
Good job, champ.
Thank you for saying this. As a bard, I find it really annoying when a tank or healer leaves because they don't want to do the dungeon or worse, when they try to "hold the party hostage," so to speak. As in, "If you don't do this the way I want, I'm leaving. Good luck finding another tank/healer LAWLZ." That shit really pisses me off. I could understand if your party is doing bad, but a lot of the time, it's under the condition of wiping once. Maybe I just run into a lot of douche bag tanks/healers, but their self-righteousness is getting on my nerves. Nice to see someone empathise, though.
I only leave if I am needed irl. It takes less time to run whatever you got and explain it to new people than quitting and queueing until you get what you want. I consider it an investment for the future.
Well over three-fourths of my default healers @ the start of Pharos, post-nerf:
I cringed both times I discovered Siren was an Atma trial target in my latest book.
My thanks to the two rare healers (whose names I can't remember) who stuck it out after several re-queues.
if low level dungeons boring to you why doing low level roullete from the 1st place?
shockingly enough, as a healer I noticed its dps who usually leave first xD after 2 wipes they are gone lol.
This situation is actually getting so bad I've kind of had to step up and queue for dungeons for my friends where a healer has ditched them. I think I've done about 10 instances like that in the past week, and had it happen to me while leveling my tank a whooooole lot more.
Hell, in Haukke NM the other day we had a healer, everything was going fine, then instantly when the healer leveled he left the dungeon >> Like wtf we were literally less than ten minutes from clearing it.
I never drop out of a roulette!
Also who disses Haukke manor?! That place is awesome even in hard mode (great loot to boot!).
However I do have to say this.
If a healer or another tank drops out during an extreme mode run I will bolt.
Here's why: NO-ONE is going to replace that slot ever and we can all either sit there for an hour to wait for someone to come or we can re-que for a full party.
Waiting in that scenario is just wasting everyone's time. Having said that I do wish people wouldn't just quit after a few wipes.
So many times I've been in a party that got progressively better as people are learning the fight but then somebody runs out of patience and I'm back in square 1. not. cool.
