woooooow, can we repair while in dungeon??
WOOOOOOO!!!!!!Hello, everyone!
I believe I have some good news to share that was mentioned during the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE.
For patch 2.28, in addition to adding a nice advantage that will take your equipment durability beyond 100% when performing repairs as a Disciples of the Hand class, we’ll also be making it so that as long as you fulfill the criteria to perform repairs, you can do so without changing your class!
I'm really more interested in repairing other peoples gear really.
i use to fix peoples gear in 1.0 but you cant do it anymore =(
Hydaelyn be praised, I'll probably actually start using this then.Hello, everyone!

I became an omnicrafter for other reasons but I'm not gonna say no to this QOL change.
Paying for repairs over 100% == FINDING someone to do it and whatever insane prices they ask for or continue doing things as they are now.Hello, everyone!

Yeah something tells me nothing is really going to change. At least for me it wont. Unless SE decides to do something really stupid like jack up NPC repair costs.
Sounds like there's no benefit to repairing over 100% except it taking longer before it breaks. Doesn't sound like anything really changes if you want to keep using the NPC to repair. It's just a nice QoL change for players who've leveled up their DoH because it removes the hassle normally associated with changing DoH classes for each different type of gear you repair and the >100% change makes it cost effective to use the Dark Matter to repair without letting your gear get to very low levels first (possibly breaking mid dungeon if you forget).Paying for repairs over 100% == FINDING someone to do it and whatever insane prices they ask for or continue doing things as they are now.

They're making it so when you repair your gear yourself the durability goes to 199% iirc, and you no longer have to switch through all your crafting classes to hunt down all your low pieces of gear. Hopefully this means we can repair in dungeons since we won't be switching classes.
If they ever do add a feature to repair other players gear, it would be very welcome. I'd love to be able to repair my friends' gear while we were in dungeons doing progress runs, since we forget to during our breaks sometimes.
I will also add my voice (yet again) to the request that we be allowed to repair other players' gear.
I leveled DoH and my husband leveled DoL. I really would love to be able to repair his gear again since that was part of our original purpose dividing the disciples as we did.
Also, since I'm not the greatest player, repairing gear for my friends was my small way to contribute to the ls.
I would like this put back into the game.
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
unless repair all comes into play .. wont be useful .. most if not many players want a all in one button .. so we shall see where this goes.
