That's why you use Attunement; the limit break will only do ~500 damage. My longest fight was over 10m.

I didn't play PvP at all until recently (mostly because I was fearful I would not do well and drag the rest of a PUG down with me... D; ), but when I finally tried it, I was surprised that I actually enjoyed it. I can definitely see a need for adjustments or fixes (I can't heal through a wall, but bards' arrows can go straight through them?), but people complaining that it's totally broken or not fun at all is really surprising to me... As far as queue times go, I think the longest I waited to get into a match was six minutes, and that was because someone was trolling and registering for duty then not commencing (rise, lather, repeat that process ten times).
I'm interested to see what adjustments come in 2.3 now for sure!

This' great news! Thank you Camate!!
Low ranks get much faster queues. As a rank 34 tank I've had waiting times upwards of 2 hours, thanks to countless 7/8 withdraw trolls. On top of that withdraws seem to break the queue resulting in occasional infinite wait times.
Also, tanks and ranged dps have it the worst from my experience. Healers of similar rank usually get in 2 matches for my 1.
Are there any adjustments planned for 2.28 other than base skills being unlocked? And is anything ever going to be done about the exploiters in 4v4?

So they only thing BLM's are good for in PvP is going to be taken away so heads up guys do not use BLM in pvp any more because there going to be 100% useless!

If they nerf WHMs sleep and bring back the heavy effect from miasma/II ( at least for SCHs) that would be cool.
I'd like to see a PvP roulette (randomly queues you for level 30, 40, or 50) and/or additional Challenge Log bonuses.
I'd love the 3 win, 10 fights bonus to be for each tier (the 30, 40, and 50) and to give scaling EXP and Wolf Marks. I think I'm Rank 15 and the Challenge Log still gives the same EXP bonus as it did at Rank 1. Don't get me wrong, I'll take whatever bonus I can get, but I wish it scaled as rank increased.
Another cool idea would be to have PvP loot drops in dungeons or to even have PvP dungeons.
Players could be dropped in random places in the dungeon, party member locations could be hidden. Throw in random treasure chests, enemies, or other obstacles. Picture Halatali HM for PvP with players dropping spiked balls on other players' heads.
Or have a capture the flag style PvP. There is so much more room for creativity in PvP that I hope Frontlines gives us something that's at least a little better.

What a great outlook to future content.I think one of the reasons for the long queues is just a general disinterest in PvP. I personally have only set foot in the Wolves Den once and that was merely for the quest, not participating in any of the actual fights. The general consensus of my friends online is that it's just not a fun experience as it's all arena based and gets dull fast.
Maybe Frontlines will change that. Probably not.
I for one am excited for Frontlines...and I'm not a huge fan of PVP either.
Also, I don't think they need to nerf sleep directly. Just make the resist sleep materia and/or the black drops a little better. They might not even have to do that with skills being unlocked and greater access to Purify.
