Any news on PvP adjustments?

The problem still exists we are getting 20+ min queues. Maybe combine data centers for the PvP queue to get people in the game faster. PvP now takes so long to get into a game on top of that the very low PvP exp and wolf marks you get upon finishing a game.

Many people who PvP have the same problem that the queues are way too long.

I think one of the biggest problems is because there isn't much in the way of balance in PVP. Scholars always perform better than White Mages because of Eos, All Warriors have to do to completely outclass Paladins is remove their Soul Crystal and give themselves cross-class abilities, Bards are amazing ranged DPS that never have to stop moving for any reason, Black Mages can sleep an entire party, etc.

PVP screws over Paladins, White Mages, and Melee DPS so bad right now.

I have seen WHMs that were able to keep 3 people and a fairy slept for the whole match while able to take out the other team 1 by 1.

I've seen kickass players in all 9 jobs doing their job correctly, and kicking my ass :P

Black Mages can cast sleep on whole party, but ANY melee hit will interrupt their casting or if someone walks outside the 10degree (if feels that small) window to cast on.

Black Mages are prob rarest class to see in PvP because they can only cast Sleep and terrible DPS Scathe for the most part. Then they get obliterated when attacked by a group of people who have PvP gear.

Hell I am Rank 15 and can get crit by a Warrior's Maim for 1500-1600. Which is great when my HP is around 3200. So add together his rotation and I don't live 10seconds.

I think one of the reasons for the long queues is just a general disinterest in PvP. I personally have only set foot in the Wolves Den once and that was merely for the quest, not participating in any of the actual fights. The general consensus of my friends online is that it's just not a fun experience as it's all arena based and gets dull fast.

Maybe Frontlines will change that. Probably not.

I still have yet to see a pvp queue longer than 5 mins, I really don't get what people are griping about.

In 200 matches my longest was 8 mins, it ended when the other team limit breaked me (the healer). Why do we even have Limit Breaks in PVP? No single class is going to be able to withstand a single target Limit Break.

Any class with attunement will dodge the limit break if used correctly.
