FF4 redone for ps3? I would definitly buy it! Sign me up, Even 6 and 7 I would buy. But FF4 is the one i'd want them to upgrade to ps3 the most.

No kidding, from what I've heard for years now awaiting XIV across dozens of gaming sites, damn near the entire FFXI community would have loved to have just had an HD ver of XI, instead of XIV. I personally wanted that more than anything. And while I know XIV is "slowly" getting better, its still just missing so much, and everything I read from Yoshi, it sounds like in the end XIV is being rebuilt from the ground up...why not just scrap it now and remake XI with the Crystal Tools engine. Its so much better than XIV will ever be...

And yes their older titles are so much better than the new ones. Besides IX & XI, I feel that VIII was the beginning of their downfall...especially X.

Seeing places like Ru'Aun Gardens in XIV's Graphics would blow my mind. God I can only imagine the Empyreal Paradox...


But seriously, no demand? Yeah OK SE, keep lying through your teeth. They know damn well ever since they showed that FF7 PS3 Tech Demo that there's a horde of people (including myself, even though I feel 7 is over rated) dying to see 7 fully remade in the level of detail they showed at that E3.


Of course, if they are going to do an HD Remake of any of the older games, much as I'd like to see XI get an overhaul (and PS2 support finally dropped to enable it), it has to be VI. No "ifs" "ands" or "buts" about it, FF6 or bust. Heck, the guy who voices Kefka in Dissidia is actually pretty good so no worries there.

Just thinking about events like the Opera House scene in HD... /drool. I wonder if there's a way to work in Motion Controls to say, Sabin's Blitz moves without it feeling tacky.
