Hope I can answer some of this.

So, Obey just makes your pet only use Embrace, and nothing else automatically. You'll have to manually activate Whispering Dawn and the others.

Steady isn't usually very useful, but in some fights you don't want Eos/Selene curing at ALL until a certain point so they don't pull aggro. Steady will prevent them using anything, even Embrace until you say so. I've used it in Ultima before and T2, but lately I haven't bothered at all.

Personally I don't like macroing Embrace with Physick or Adlo. I put Embrace on my hotbar and manually spam it and Physick/Adlo at the same time. I find a lot of the time there are party members who need healing but I can't always stop healing the tank. In these cases I let Eos take care of the party if they aren't super critical HP, while I keep the tank topped up. If you have Embrace macro'd to Physick you may have a hard time getting Eos to cure someone you aren't manually curing.

Rouse+Whispering Dawn is a great macro I think is always worth having together. I add in Fey Illumination (the healing buff one, that's the name right?) for extra oomph, but you don't *NEED* it. In fact, some times I'll be hesitant to use Whispering Dawn like this because I don't want to blow Fey until I really need it. I could either just deal with it as is, make two macros, one with and one without Fey, or just put it on it's own ability slot, which I have few of. But personally I like having them all together, that way when I need AoE heals I press one button and it just happens after two seconds or so.

I wouldn't put the Fey Covenant on a macro with it though. As nice as it is to have absolutely everything on one button, this one is nice to use by itself. Not to mention with the extra ability, Eos will be sitting there using abilities for a solid 6+ seconds.

It takes a bit of fidgeting with your macro to get it to work but I've got a working version if you'd like it. The problem normally is that yes, even if you macro it all together Eos will still interrupt it with Embrace. Someone figured out they could fix it by adding in a /stay command. This bugged me because it made my fairy stay, and I'd forget about her and she'd get de-summoned, so I fixed it.

    /macroicon "Whispering Dawn" pet Eos
    /ac "rouse"
    /pac stay
    /pac "Fey Illumination"
    /wait
    /pac stay
    /pac "Whispering Dawn"
    /wait 2.5
    /pac heel

    *edit*

Some useful things to macro would be basically all your DPS abilities to <t> and then <tt>. That way you can dps who ever the tank has selected and switch back to healing pretty easily. I also really want to (and should get around to) adding /pac "Embrace" <f> to every single DPS ability as well. This way if I DO have an enemy targeted I can still get Eos to heal my focus target who would be the tank. Since Eos only heals at about 70-80% HP, this could be insanely useful.

Adding <t> then <tt> to Virus and Eye for an Eye can be great as well, along with an announcement and sound effect in party chat, just so nobody else wasted Virus. Energy Drain is great for this too to easily get MP back while never de-selecting the tank.

Also I don't know if you use a controller/gamepad or not, but you can make an ability change your cross-hotbar (maybe even your regular hotbar on PC, not sure) . So you can make two Cleric Stance macros and two hotbars. One for healing and one for DPS. Using the macro on your healing hotbar will put you in Cleric Stance and switch your hotbar to #2 or what ever your DPS hotbar is, and using the one on your DPS hotbar will take you out of Cleric Stance and put you back on your #1 healing hotbar. VERY useful for saving some room on your main hotbar
