Good question, I'll double check to be sure, although I believe the /wait is part of the original macro from somebody else, and the only things I changed was to add the /wait 2.5 and /pac heel. Bear in mind this only works if your fairy is set to Obey, which it sounds yours is.

What the macro does essentially is make you use Rouse (assuming you don't press the macro while you're casting, or else you'll have to spam it again once you're done casting to use Rouse) , make Eos stop using Embrace while she uses Fey Illumination, and then she uses Whispering Dawn. I'm not 100% sure how this is achieved, but it's something to do with the /wait and /pac stay. I don't know how it works, but it does. I've never once had Eos cast Embrace and interrupt her Whispering Dawn using this macro, even when the whole party is at about 30% from something like Ifrit's Hellfire, Titan's stomps, etc.

Credits for this macro goes to Croakstar and his guide, which I'll leave here for you to check out if you'd like.

Decimals do indeed work now, I'm almost positive of it. Try making a macro that uses two abilities on the GCD and only using /wait 2. You should get an Unable to Execute error because it's trying to use the second ability while the GCD is still up, but if you add /wait 2.5 which is the GCD time, it will work properly.

Also just a little tip I found out that you may or not need, they have added the ability to put the /wait command on the same line as an ability now, it is just formatted differently. This way you can free up so many lines and have a decent sized macro now, perfect for crafting. It goes something like this:

    /pac "Embrace" <wait.2.5>

You have to put a decimal between the wait and the number, then just type in the number, and it works great.

...You do know what "round up" means? Saying 2.5 works where 2 doesn't... doesn't prove anything. Because 2.5 rounds up to 3.

Make a wait 2.5 macro. Make a wait 3 macro. Watch it be exactly the same.

Wow, someone is snarky. No need to be hostile. Okay so decimals don't work. Does this make you feel like a big man? Well congrats, your comment was nearly as pointless a "FIRST1!!" comment.

Wait without a number defaults to wait 1. Wait decimals round up.

Eos will cast Embrace onj any member of ur party below 70% or something. Deal with it. I make some macro that can help u a bit if u want instant casting whisp dawn. Obey is a must. I use for that Steady command which interrupts Eos or Selene Embrace. The key is the fairy needs to be on Guard on all the time because if u hit Steady command when ur fairy is already on it, it won't work. There u go :

    /micon "Whispering Dawn"
    /pac Steady
    /ac Rouse
    /pac "Whispering Dawn" <me>
    /wait 6
    /pac Guard

little explanation : when u hit ur macro button Eos/Selene will almost immediately stop casting Embrace bcoz of Steady command and will start casting Whisp Down in the same time when u will Rouse her. After casting whisp dawn she will change to Guard after 6 seconds to be ready on whisp when cd will end.

btw. u can set macro like that to the two other fairy's skills. just use /wait 2 instead of 6 bcoz they are instant while whispering dawn is not.
I use it from few months already.
hope it will help a bit

I'm not sure where the snark is. I said decimals don't work. You said they did. I said that. Here we are.

    Am I wrong?

"you do know what round up means?" thats a whole lot of snark right there. All you had to state was that 2.5=3 in macros without needing to question someones intellect.

The best way to do it ive found is to macro Embrace on an adlo and phys, then leave an embrace all by itself (INCREDIBLY helpul for healing OT in Levi EX) also the rouse/whispering dawn is perfect too since they are on the same 60s cd. I like to keep Fey Illum for when i know i will need it so i dont macro that to anything. As scholars we are first and foremost Tank healers, if you have a whm in the party you really shouldnt need to heal up other party members that often with a single target heal so leaving a non macro heal is kind of a waste of hotbar space imo. But this is all up to you. I recommend at the LEAST macroing physic and embrace so you can single heal better. adlo is not as important because of the shield and can be wasted if you are using it to only prevent damage and not heal+prevent.

You are actually wrong, decimals do technically work.
    They just round up.

Personally, the only healing macro I use is physick+embrace, because as a WHM main it's what feels the most natural to me (I pre-cast/cancel all the time). I find that comboing embrace onto everything locks the fairy up too often to reliably use its skills. For DoTs and Ruin (II) though, I use attach <t> and <tt> so I don't have to click off of whoever I'm healing.
