Disable AoE magic/ablilites in towns

well the bells are in the market, to move away from it would mean to crossover a zone change, depending on what end you are, you never know much in advance what you are going to need unless you have a piece of paper write it down all and then craft, provide your inventory is empty enough to allow you to, I dont see a problem with crafters. Incidentally, where do you craft ? you telling me you are crafting farrr away from the bells and boards ? I hightly doubt. unless you dont craft much anymore since you have already maximized all your crafts ?

AoE thought, like the mounts arent allowed in the towns (main ones) should be automatically removed. There are no need to use weapons and skills in towns, why have it OR allow mounts as well why would mounts not be allowed in main towns and AoE yes ? silly uh?

There are 3 seperate settings for 3 separate groups - You, Party memebers, others - for each you can have full, partial or no effect. I use full for myself, partial for party and none for others.

Thank you for that- I have not found these settings and I am much happier- spam away ppl It doesnt matter now.

I got sick of this because of all the asshat DRG's spamming their damned move over and over again in town.

Only thing you can do right now is what I did. Turn down the volume of non party members to 0.

But with me crafting sounds do not bother me in the least. I actually miss them cause it adds a little more flavor to the towns when running around.

^^^^ THIS YES! I wish we could do that. Also there is no reason to disable my Holy sometimes I need to see that pretty globe of awesomeness.

Incidentally, where do you craft ? you telling me you are crafting farrr away from the bells and boards ?

Not "far" away - just not right next / in fron of it, I actually store a lot of my crafting mats in FC chest as well so in Gridania I usually craft by the wall with 3 wooden chests next to the "middle" exit from the shopping area (at the sight of FC chest), at Limsa on the big boulder on side of the small round square between the shopping area sections (again at sight but not righ in front of FC chest) and in Uldah I'll "hide" in the doorway just on the north end of the shopping area just bellow the border with the next area (a little bit futher from the FC chest though which in the middle there). If I know that I'll be not needing anything from FC chest then I craft in the FC Housing area (don't have the House yet but hope to have one soon) to avoid lag, people running around me and to minimize chance of fail on the myth mats crafts. I do craft almost every day for a couple of hours and yes I do need to run here and there a few time to the bells, MBs (although I barelly buy anything from there anyway), NPCs and FC chests.
