Make Lightning hairstyle available for everyone

We do not currently have any plans to hold another Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII collaboration event, and we do not have any plans to add Lightning’s hairstyle to the Aesthetician or make it available from event vendors.

Probably because FFXV was originally meant to be a spin-off game of FFXIII called FF Versus XIII and is part of the same Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation that FFXIII is a part of. But I digress...

I just wish there was a way to get Lightning's gear because I have the whole Snow set, but I'm gonna use a fantasia to get a female character as soon as it comes out. I'll get the hair, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get the gear, even from the Calamity Salvager...Am I wrong?

Wait, does this mean you can sell hairstyles at a vendor? What would be the point of that?

I just had images of the beastmen tribes selling "haircut patterns" on how they thing the races should look... Our hair manicured into sea-turtle shapes by the Sahagin, or a Bomb haircut by the kobolds for example xD

I do believe the powers that be have said that, in a future update, there will be an npc that we can exchange gender-specific gear, like the Snow gear, for the Lightning gear, etc. Please look forward to it!

But don´t we basically have it in the form of the "Calamity Salvager" being able to sell both gendered event items? Could be better, but maybe that was good enough for SE.

Well I did the Valentione event as a male, so I got the male version of the event's gear, but I can purchase the female version at the Calamity Salvager. It doesn't work for the Lightning event though :/
