Oh, I can make the shawl and pants (326 craftsmanship) but I can't make the ingot/leather (higher min requirement) and it sort of eats into the profitability of selling it buying those on the market. I don't care to vanity anything (except maybe the fkn evenstar coat...) I was just gonna sell the cloth and was thinking of whether it would be worth the synth for more $$$. My FC has enough max-melded crafters as well if I REALLY needed something; just don't want to whore them out for extra gil for myself is all. But thanks for the offer ^_^

I have gotten the same thing the last 5 days in a row for my Xiii ventures. a Hq fish and corel meat. gonna test xii tonight.

I've been getting a lot of mossy materials for the Giantsgall weapons off of the gathering XII ventures.

I got loads of hippo leatherHQ and coeurl meat HQ this weekend with one light steel. So depressing waiting 18h for 200g worth of crafting supplies :/

so far the best items I have gotten from my retainers are; a bunch of the mossy stone mats, hq 1 star mats, garuda staff for blm, i70 warwolf bracelet.. and something else I forgot.. I don't do the 18hr ones anymore... the payoffs suck unless you get lucky with the mossy stone stuff for giantgall.. I do the quick ones and get the gear/weapons/housing stuff.. I only get like 1 cool thing per week and im prolly better off spending my seals on tome mats.. but meh maybe ill get lucky and see a sand/oil of time or unidentified allagan tomestone ^^

Best thing I've gotten so far is a Battle Mage Robe, L32, from QE on my L34 Gladiator retainer.

Worst... all the damn anchovies I don't even like anchovies.

I've received 3 Taffeta cloths, 1 Light Steel Plate and 1 Minute Mindflayer in 20 XIII ventures so far. The rest have been a mixture of HQ crawler cocoons and couerl meat.

In ~50 Field and Highland Exploration XIII trips I only got 3 Lightsteel, 1 Mindflayer, 1 Taffeta Cloth and a bunch of Coeurl Meat, Hippogryph Skin and Gold Sand so far.
Kinda unterwhelming results and not really worth considering the equipment you have to give your DoL retainer to even be able to attempt a XIII venture.
DoW/DoM classes have it much easier.
