Best Gear in Coil needs to end

For everyone arguing that people only wanted more options to coil and not handouts. May I present this post.

They can easily spread gear coil efficient gear through content.

Beastmen dailies offering 1 armor piece for completing depending on their lore, etc. Sahagin could've given a necklace, Kobolds could've given a helm or chest piece.

So if i'm reading this correctly someone just thought it would be a great idea to have beastmen dailies reward Coil level gear. If that's not asking for handouts I don't know what is.

Uhhh you can get a full i100 set before ever setting into coil. My main is i94 and im on t8 and I'm sure people who are clearing t9 are not much higher than i100 either. So what the hell are you talking about "reliable set to do coil" i90 is more than reliable enough to start doing SCoB and if thats not good enough you can have i100 pieces or an entire set on top of that as well? Do you even think about what you try to argue before posting it?

ilvl doesn't mean anything if you don't meet the accuracy requirement. I'm ilvl 96 sure as hell not gonna be doing T6 with 395 accuracy and 2 pieces that can increase my accuracy by a total of 29 isn't gonna magically make it better. This gear I'm building is just for dungeons and vanity and nothing else, now I can myth farm without having to care about the other dps spot pulling his/her weight.

So unless there's some magical formula that allows players to get ilvl100 with a reliable set of gear that gives them the proper distribution of gear you don't have a reliable set of gear you have pieces of loot scatters all over the place that give small boosts to your overall stats. Especially when that progression itself takes weeks upon weeks to achieve.

Yet the concept flies right by you and for obvious reasons as well.

God forbid we have a balanced form of progression / instead of the constant flatline - that can only be fixed via echo.

@ Gomorgon, my god man. There are 3 i90 sets (Myth/Allagan/Crafted+materia) plus i100 soldiery. There's already plenty of options there to make an entry level set of "reliable gear" for second coil. You can easily make a set by mixing those 4 sets and still be going into coil with ilvl95 and meeting the accuracy requirements.

You were complaining that there weren't many options to gear before starting coils for a "reliable coil set" I provided you with one that got you to i99 with the required accuracy where you didn't ever need to step into coil for. Now you want to be able to get it in 2mins as well? You really do want everything handed out to you as well don't you?
