First of: you were the one comparing healer LB with phoenix, so it is indeed my right to counter that with weakness of healer LB <-- we were not talking about any other LB, please dont mix things up here!

Secund about the lack of damaging a boss: I do not know if you have played any optional endgame bosses in older FF games without help of cheesy tricks like auto revive or invincible... but the fact you have to revive makes you lose one turn, then having all members up again you loose a secund turn with casting "wall" while in same round prehealing (tank who mostly survives have to use items - we are not talking from cross class skills here). So while the boss can continue attacking you, you are losing turns where you CAN NOT decrease life from boss! <-- please dont mix things up again

The difference in ffxiv is that you can not come back when you fallen once...
Example A: MT dies -> wipe
Example B: too many DPS missing -> wipe
Example C: Healer dies -> wipe

True, it depends on content but SE made sure with all those nearly onehits set on AoE it is unforgiving mechanic and that is not what Final Fantasy was in past.

2.) Healer LB 3 is a party wide res. So keep assuming.
3.) I've done every optional end game boss in previous FF, except FFXI and FFXIII related titles, with and without "cheesing". You may see it as losing a turn but I don't see it that way because there's a lot of variables at play that you neglect to throw 1 word around. Since you like to assume a lot I'll do so too. Only reason you struggle is for your incapability of having a balanced party. Don't do it again.

4.) You keep making those assumptions
4a.) I gotten many parties to come back from a tank death if there's no mechanics that are gonna prevent it. You can aggro the boss and kite it properly or long enough to make a difference for one.
4b.) Gee I wonder what ability exists that can raise a full party. Many wipes can be averted if a properly planned HLB3 is used instead of doing nothing.
4c.) Summnoners can battle res. Tanks can kite instead of taking it in the face.

5.) That's exactly what Final Fantasy was in the past. Yet 1 hit KO mechanics in past games were dealt with max stats and gear. A luxury we don't have here because "muh challenge".

If there was a null earth ability or earth resists gear that can nullify titan's landslide pushback Titan HM and Titan Extreme wouldn't have the need to be nerfed through echo but instead cheesed through farming gear which can be applied to other bosses.

Will it stop people from complaining? I'd go with not. Since you've proven to ignore as many assets as possible just to try and make a point which will be unclear to me what it is because I ain't neglecting the variables you neglect.

If this is response to the OP. you are epicly missing the point. Here's a highlight

As a casual player who has many real life responsibilities; i'm finding it hard to get to the challenging content before it is nerfed.

So the issue for people like him and me isn't that we are trying to find challenge in content we have personally done a thousand times. It's wanting the same opportunity that others get to see all content in it's original state/challenge.

The changes doesn't make it any less original nor any less challenging for players such as yourself.

The fact that you couldn't do it before the nerf doesn't mean much outside of time passed.

If you grow a lemon tree it will take time before you get your lemons your way. Just because some 5 year old girl decided to put up a lemon stand across your street doesn't make your lemons any less lemony nor do your lemons magically secrete their lemon juice with the appropriate amount of sugar magically for you either in a glass with ice for you to drink.

Idk , bit nerf is just fine , and also opened road thru T5 wall and Ex for everyone , and not only low % high tier skill player. It's a game , it have to be enjoyable for everyone . Don't like echo -> click it off .

I don't really have a horse in this race (because I honestly don't care how easy they make content that I was clearing trivially before they nerfed it) but there are certainly other nerfs besides echo that you can't click off and I do feel for people who never got to do some of the good content when it was still good.
